In this poetry tribute, Hill celebrates the  Aunttude shirt of black women who resisted oppression and refused to be silenced throughout US history. Each woman has a black and white photo, a short biographical page about her and then a poem to celebrate her life. Hill’s subjects range from well-known activists like Assata Shakur to women I had never heard of like Ruby McCollum. I’m grateful to Hill for highlighting the strength of these women in all their rage and passion and will certainly be learning more about the ones I didn’t know about.

If you read this (and you should), don't google anything about Paul Le Roux. An evil guy, but his story is more thrilling and unbelievable than most fiction. I had to put it down for a bit (life!) and couldn't wait to get back to it. Terrific, fast-paced read that is a cross between Keyser Soze, a John le Carre conspiracy and Jason Bourne thriller - but it’s all true. From American bureaucrats to mindless mercenaries, this is a page turner worth your time. This is one of THE   Any man father can be a father someone special to be a cat daddy shirt  books I have ever read. Wonderfully written, and you just will not believe some of what you read, but it's true! I could not put this book down. Paul Le Roux is a true monster, as evil as they come. But this book.
